Rennie Pearson is a virtuoso multi-instrumentalist specializing in the traditional music of Ireland, Scotland, and Maritime Canada. His dynamic performances balance foot-stomping dance tunes, soul-stirring slow airs, stunning songs, and evocative original compositions with rich storytelling. With engaging stage presence, humor, and deep knowledge of the music and its history, he invites audiences of all ages and backgrounds to connect with the music he plays on wooden flute, Irish whistles, guitar, bodhrán, fiddle, and voice.
Rennie has toured extensively across New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, Canada, and China, performed at major festivals, and appeared alongside artists such as Yo-Yo Ma on international recording projects.
